Right on the heels of the Chinese drywall fiasco and the Toyotas all over the country acting like Herbie, the little Volkswagen that has a mind of its own, comes the biggest bonanza of them all and that, of course, is the Gulf oil spill. BP has put up $20 billion to reimburse businesses and individuals which have been adversely affected by the Gulf oil disaster. The way Obama has structured the payout is at the rate of $5 billion per year over the next four years. That simply means that some people making claims today may very well have to wait four more years to get paid.
This one unnatural disaster could very well result in thousands of lawsuits and an unbelievable opportunity for legal videographers to capture the damage that has been created since mid-April. It is reported that the leak could continue all the way into December. We have already received calls from our Gulf Coast videographers and the lawyers are now in full swing.
Believe me, we are not happy about those who have been adversely affected by this ongoing tragedy but, hopefully, our Gulf Coast videographers will be able to assist those damaged to receive justice from those who have created this massive oil spill. I am certain there will be hundreds of depositions and on-site videos shot to back up their claims. Every Gulf Coast videographer should be on the phone calling their attorney clients offering their expert legal video services. You need to plant the seeds or there will be no harvest.
